Stem cell specialist company Miracell Co., Ltd. announced its participation in the '2025 Global Health Exhibition' held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center in Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 30.

Hosted by the Saudi Ministry of Health, this exhibition was themed 'Invest in Health'. With global attention focused on regenerative medicine fields such as extending healthy lifespan, preventing chronic diseases, and delaying aging, the latest technologies related to stem cell therapy were highlighted.

This year's exhibition saw the participation of over 100,000 medical professionals and 2,000 companies worldwide, engaging in active exchanges, alongside various workshops and sessions with over 500 speakers. Particularly, key agendas included digital health, AI-based diagnostics, preventive medicine, and building global partnerships, aligning with the Saudi government's 'Vision 2030' project, which includes a healthcare industry transformation program.

Miracell is accelerating its penetration into the Middle Eastern market by showcasing its proprietary stem cell extraction system, 'SMART M-CELL'. Currently, SMART M-CELL is in use in hospitals centered around Dubai, UAE, and Kuwait. Miracell is continuing its active global marketing by participating in international dermatology exhibitions such as 'Dubai Derma' and touring major countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

Park Tae-min, Director of Miracell's Global Business Division, stated, "The Middle Eastern region, including Saudi Arabia, is rapidly expanding and localizing its medical industry, with premium healthcare investments in anti-aging, beauty, regeneration, and wellness sectors growing rapidly." He added, "We participated in this exhibition to widely promote Miracell's technology, known as the 'ultimate in stem cells', in markets with high demand for stem cell therapy and to discover new partners."

He further mentioned, "During the event, about 70 teams, mainly from the Middle East, visited the Miracell booth, showing high interest in male energy and hair loss improvement fields. SMART M-CELL attracted explosive interest from Middle Eastern medical professionals due to its high efficiency, concentrating CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells up to 282 times compared to existing systems, with a cell survival rate of about 99%."

The Saudi medical device market is projected to reach approximately USD 6.42 billion (about KRW 9.3 trillion) by 2025 and grow to approximately USD 8.23 billion (about KRW 11.9 trillion) by 2030. As a country that imports over 90% of its medical devices, the Saudi market presents significant opportunities but also has a complex regulatory structure.

Director Park explained, "Saudi Arabia emphasizes safety and quality strictly, making the medical device registration and approval process very challenging. However, Miracell's SMART M-CELL is highly regarded for its performance and safety among medical professionals, bringing us close to entering the Saudi market."

SMART M-CELL is a bio-medical device used in regenerative medical treatments by separating and concentrating stem cells and regeneration-related cells from blood or bone marrow. It has been designated as a Health New Technology (NET) by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is currently used in various clinical areas, including knee osteoarthritis and anti-aging treatments.

Miracell's SMART M-CELL has already gained attention in the European market. At the 'European Regenerative Medicine Symposium' held in Serbia last September, Dr. Vladimir Jovanovic (a regenerative medicine expert under the Serbian Ministry of Health) and Dr. Jelena presented three years of clinical results using SMART M-CELL, which was reported by national broadcasting and became a topic of interest.

Additionally, at the 'World Pain Congress' held in Spain last October, Greek hematology expert Dr. Ilias Theodoropoulos announced, "Over the past year, more than 400 SMART M-CELL stem cell treatments have proven effective for rheumatic pain and anti-aging," drawing attention from the global academic community.

Miracell plans to further strengthen its position in the Middle Eastern market following this Saudi exhibition and showcase the technological and clinical competitiveness of SMART M-CELL at the world's largest medical device fair, 'MEDICA 2025', to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 17 to 20.

Meanwhile, Miracell has developed and launched the world's first 'Chroma M-CELL' Ringer bag cover, a light energy cell activation bio device. It can be applied according to the patient's symptoms with four color wavelengths, helping to improve cell condition and enhance efficacy and stability during stem cell procedures.
