Deearneon Co., Ltd., which is promoting AI-based digital transformation of the agri-food supply chain, and agricultural corporation Gentle Farmers Co., Ltd., which operates a vertically integrated system and fulfillment system for Korean garlic, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for data-driven innovation in agricultural product distribution.
This agreement is based on a shared goal of digitizing the entire process from production to consumption of unlisted agricultural products, including garlic, using an ontology-based approach, and thereby improving the distribution structure to increase the actual income of producers in production areas. As unlisted agricultural products lack official wholesale market auction data and their price, quality, and distribution information are dispersed, there has been a continued call for the establishment of a data system that connects the entire production and distribution process.
Deearneon is a B2B agritech company that builds digital twins of agri-food supply chains and operates the food material direct transaction commerce platform “PARADO” based on AI price forecasting and a nationwide direct-trade network with production areas. Gentle Farmers is a garlic-specialized company that began in Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, and has vertically integrated the entire process of cultivation, processing, and distribution based on AI, centered on its fulfillment service “Garlic Ghost.”
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to build an integrated supply chain that connects production areas to consumption sites by combining Deearneon’s data structuring technology and price forecasting capabilities with Gentle Farmers’ cultivation, purchase, processing, and shipment data. On this basis, they intend to establish a data-based decision-making system throughout the entire process from production to distribution of unlisted agricultural products, improving distribution efficiency while stably supplying domestically produced garlic to food service businesses.
They will also reduce the existing multi-stage distribution structure of producer → collector → wholesaler → retailer. The goal is to create a structure that provides higher farm-gate prices for producers in production areas and a more rational purchasing environment for food service businesses

Deearneon CEO Choi Jong-seok stated, “For unlisted agricultural products, connecting information across the entire process from production to consumption is crucial,” adding, “We will enhance efficiency and transparency through a data-based distribution structure.”
Gentle Farmers CEO Kim Jae-deok said, “We will improve the distribution structure based on data from production sites, thereby simultaneously increasing farm income and establishing a stable supply system.”
