The Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on the 1st that, through a pan-government collaboration, they will build and operate a large-scale Korea Pavilion featuring 38 institutions and 470 companies. CES 2026, held under the theme “Innovators Show Up,” is expected to showcase a wide range of innovative products and services incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology in sectors such as home appliances, mobility, and healthcare.
The government plans to operate unified booth designs and logos for participating companies, centering on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “K-Startup Integrated Pavilion” and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s “Integrated Korea Pavilion” at this year’s CES. This year’s CES will also see a large number of domestic beauty and healthcare companies in attendance. Kolmar Korea, a cosmetics original design manufacturing (ODM) company, will set up a booth to unveil its “Scar Beauty Device,” which has received an Innovation Award in the digital health category. The device uses AI to diagnose skin wounds, automatically sprays the appropriate medication, and then provides step-by-step care using light-emitting diodes (LEDs). It subsequently supports customized makeup as well.
Amorepacific will exhibit its Skinsight technology, which has received an Innovation Award in the beauty tech category. Skinsight, jointly developed by Amorepacific and a research team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), is a platform that analyzes the causes of skin aging in real time and provides personalized solutions for each individual.
APR will exhibit cosmetics and beauty devices again this year, following its participation in 2024 and last year. APR plans to showcase its flagship products and set up a Medicube booth equipped with experience and consultation spaces to discuss business collaboration opportunities with global buyers.
Healthcare companies will also participate to showcase innovative technologies. Ceragem will present an AI wellness home under the theme “A Living Home That Knows Me Best.” The concept features smart healthcare products throughout the home that are organically connected, turning the “home” itself into a health management platform. Through this, the company plans to demonstrate the potential of residential healthcare. Bodyfriend, which is participating in CES for the 10th consecutive year, will highlight its wearable healthcare robot 733 to introduce rehabilitation assistance technology that individually controls the arms, legs, and ankles.
