Dr. Ilias Theodoropoulos, a hematologist, presents on the potential to reverse aging of CD34+ stem cells. Provided by Miracell
Stem cell specialist company Miracell announced on the 8th that Dr. Ilias Theodoropoulos, a hematologist, presented clinical results of stem cell therapy using the company's protocol at the '45th Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine Conference' held at COEX on the 23rd of last month.
The conference, organized by the Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery, was prepared for experts in various fields such as dermatology, plastic surgery, and stem cell therapy to share the latest trends and clinical outcomes.
Dr. Ilias presented on the topic 'The Potential to Reverse Aging through CD34+ Stem Cells and an Integrated Approach.' He disclosed clinical data from treatments conducted using Miracell's SMART M-CELL on 42 patients aged 37 to 76 from 2023 to 2025. The SMART M-CELL is a device that automatically isolates and highly concentrates stem cells from blood or bone marrow.
Dr. Ilias stated that, depending on the patient's condition, the four specific wavelengths of SMART M-CELL—blue, green, yellow, and red—were utilized to induce the desired therapeutic effects during the stem cell activation process. Liver and immune diseases were treated with green, while joint and bone diseases were treated with red, enhancing the therapeutic action of stem cells through light-based stimulation. Dr. Ilias claimed, "After treatment with CD34+ stem cells extracted using Miracell equipment, objective improvement effects were confirmed in the areas of immunity, orthopedics, cardiovascular, and anti-aging," and added, "In particular, the PhenoAge indicator analysis, which evaluates biological age, showed that the average age of patients improved from 58.3 years to 50.5 years, reducing the biological age by approximately 8 years."
PhenoAge is an advanced indicator that evaluates biological aging by comprehensively analyzing various blood biomarkers.
