Beauty influencer Harry, who is promoting the charm of K-beauty worldwide, has launched a global color cosmetics platform called 'About Color'.
This platform stems from Harry's experience of sharing makeup stories with followers for over six years. Observing the inconveniences and failures consumers face in the process of purchasing color cosmetics, Harry has introduced a next-generation color cosmetics platform to address these issues.
Harry stated, “I often heard stories of disappointment after purchasing color cosmetics online,” and added, “Online information is overwhelmingly focused on advantages, leading to repeated consumer failures. To solve this problem, I launched the color cosmetics platform 'About Color'.”
Harry noted the absence of a specialized platform in the color cosmetics field, unlike skincare apps. Thus, About Color helps users select color cosmetics without failure by openly sharing the makeup moods actually used by celebrities, unprocessed real swatches, and honest pros and cons of products.
The integration of AI technology is also noteworthy. Previously, content creation required significant time, but About Color employs an AI system where the editor communicates their experiences with AI, automatically completing magazine articles, SNS content, and SEO-optimized formats. This reduces production time by more than tenfold, allowing for faster content delivery.
The platform is also expanding globally. Currently supporting Korean, English, and Japanese, it delivers K-beauty information to consumers worldwide. In the future, it plans to introduce an AI mood matching feature that recommends color products similar to those of favorite celebrities.
Harry emphasized, “We launched 'About Color' to enable consumers to purchase color cosmetics online without failure,” and added, “This platform redefines the color cosmetics exploration experience, and we plan to develop it into the world's largest color curation platform to satisfy consumers not only in Korea but globally.”
