“To make technology impactful, it should not end with a single event but enhance daily work efficiency for users to experience. Tax Special Forces aims to revolutionize everyday accounting tasks by helping anyone easily handle accounting with AI.”
These are the words of Yoo Sung-sik, CEO of iBizOn, who developed the AI-based accounting automation agent ‘Tax Special Forces’. As an accountant, he applies technology to the field he knows best, accounting, to drive innovation in tax tasks. Yoo Sung-sik, who declared his goal to “create a world where everyone can easily handle accounting,” was met at his office in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

‘Tax Special Forces’ helps efficient accounting by automatically analyzing business cash flowDeveloped by iBizOn, Tax Special Forces is an AI accounting automation agent. It automatically analyzes the cash flow of businesses to assist in efficient accounting tasks and strengthens the connection between business owners and tax accountants.

Yoo Sung-sik stated, “If the complex tasks in accounting and bookkeeping are not handled properly, it becomes difficult to grasp cash flow, leading to leaks. The existing manual accounting systems focused solely on tax bookkeeping add to the complexity of already cumbersome accounting tasks, making real-time cash management difficult. The SaaS-based Tax Special Forces enhances the efficiency of accounting tasks for startups and small businesses that lack bookkeeping personnel and systems and have a high proportion of manual management. It also improves the efficiency of tasks that have been manually handled by tax offices. AI automatically classifies and assists in accounting by gathering tax invoices, bank transactions, and card usage details. As a result, users can quickly and accurately make decisions by viewing cash flow at a glance on the platform,” he emphasized.
He continued, “Tax Special Forces automates repetitive tasks such as frequently issued tax invoices and accumulates data to prevent omissions. Subsequently, business owners and tax accountants can perform accounting processing based on real-time connections on the platform,” adding, “Tax Special Forces makes complex numbers visible with AI technology and helps those numbers lead to better decisions.”
Tax Special Forces operates through processes such as ▲transaction data integration ▲automatic data analysis ▲report generation.
Yoo Sung-sik explained, “By simply registering a certificate with Tax Special Forces, transaction data such as accounts, cards, and tax invoices are automatically integrated. Then, AI automatically classifies sales and purchases, tracks credit card usage classification, and unaccounted funds. It generates reports that track and organize cash flow, operating profit, VAT, receivables, and payables over time,” emphasizing, “Automatic data collection and organization are possible, and data sharing is possible not only with members within the platform but also with tax accountants, reducing simple repetitive tasks of requesting and modifying the same data. It can prevent cash leaks before they start.”

He further explained, “Tax Special Forces is supplied in three forms: for business owners, for tax offices (Tax Special Forces Pro), and for tax and management expert services (Tax Special Forces Partners). Tax Special Forces Pro assists tax accountants with comprehensive accounting processing such as client cash management, automatic journal entries, and deduction determination,” introducing, “Tax Special Forces Partners provides management services including tax, monthly closing, cash management, and payroll outsourcing at partner offices.”
Overcoming outsourcing failures to successfully develop Tax Special Forces
iBizOn initially outsourced solution development during its early stages but faced trial and error. Subsequently, it formed its own development team to launch Tax Special Forces.
Yoo Sung-sik recalled, “In the early days of starting the company, we outsourced the development of Tax Special Forces. The result, which was said to be possible in three months, was not available even after six months, making commercialization impossible,” adding, “We designed it to accommodate about 100 users initially, but later realized that expanding the system would require redesigning from scratch. This experience completely changed the technical direction of iBizOn.”
He continued, “Based on this experience, we stopped relying on outsourcing and hired developers to form a team. Recognized for the convenience of Tax Special Forces, we were selected for government TIPS projects and secured R&D funds,” reminiscing, “Over the next two years, we focused on developing accounting and automated accounting solutions with internal personnel, allowing us to launch Tax Special Forces.”
AI bookkeeping agent update based on MCP solution imminent… Enhancing work efficiency through natural language interactioniBizOn is once again attempting a transition to an AI-centric structure and advancing its solution.
Yoo Sung-sik said, “We wanted to introduce AI to improve the accuracy of accounting automation, but it was very difficult to find AI developers. At this time, we were able to solve the problem by partnering with Artiwells, a company that developed the ‘MCP server automatic construction solution’,” adding, “Instead of missing the golden time to win the competition by developing AI functions in-house, we plan to quickly integrate the MCP solution to enhance the solution based on the AI accounting agent.”

‘MCP (Model Context Protocol)’ refers to a standardized data connection protocol that allows AI to directly query and utilize corporate data. Previously, to integrate corporate data with tools like ChatGPT or Claude AI, developers had to individually integrate different APIs for each data and tool. Adding new data sources also required complex settings, limiting scalability. This was why digital transformation was difficult for SMEs facing challenges in hiring developers.
By using the MCP server automatic construction solution, various AI tools can be easily utilized without complex coding. When corporate data organized in Excel, etc., is converted to MCP, AI tools like Claude can analyze the data in real-time and respond to queries.

Yoo Sung-sik stated, “Once the AI bookkeeping agent is introduced to Tax Special Forces based on the MCP solution, AI can assist not only with simple calculations but also with complex judgments,” adding, “For example, since real-time financial statement generation is possible based on tax invoices, bank transactions, and card usage details, cash flow can be understood more easily and quickly without going through multiple steps,” and “Accounting tasks can be handled by conversing with the AI agent, and questions can be asked and answered. For instance, if it is unclear whether to categorize dinner expenses as entertainment or welfare expenses, AI provides the answer. The accuracy of the AI bookkeeping agent has already risen to over 90%, and final tests are underway, with a possible launch by the end of this month.”

Yoo Sung-sik concluded, “The members of Tax Special Forces share the value of ‘reducing the time of working people’. This philosophy is also reflected in product design. Tax Special Forces users will be supported with an interface that allows them to ask questions and receive answers instead of dealing with complex screens. While all SaaS compete on UI, the ultimate importance lies in ‘how easily answers can be obtained’. Just as Chat GPT has replaced search, accounting also needs innovation in the same way,” adding, “The era of AI transition has arrived not only for companies but also for tax offices. We have the technology to help tax office clients innovate their work as partners in that transition. We will also focus on securing tax office clients. We will continue to do our best to make accounting easier and more accessible in various areas for more people.”
