Askitmore has developed 'Snapdeck,' an AI slide creation agent that generates professional presentation files with just a single prompt. When users input their desired content, it creates customized slides with complete harmony of charts, graphs, and layouts within 1-2 minutes. Real-time edits through a chat interface are also possible, boasting speeds up to five times faster than competitors.
Askitmore officially launched Snapdeck on September 22 through the global new product introduction platform 'Product Hunt.' On the launch day, it achieved second place for 'Product of the Day,' and a week later, it secured first place for 'Product of the Week.' User feedback has been positive, allowing the service to surpass 10,000 subscribers without any significant promotional or marketing activities.
A conversation was held with Lee Min-kyu, CEO of Askitmore, about the company and Snapdeck.

Choosing Entrepreneurship Over Employment “I Have Many Things I Want to Do”IT Donga: Hello, CEO Lee Min-kyu. Please introduce yourself.
CEO Lee Min-kyu: Hello, I am Lee Min-kyu from Askitmore. I am a 25-year-old young entrepreneur who studied design and computer engineering at a university in the United States but paused my studies to focus on entrepreneurship with my co-founders. I interned at Kakao at the age of 19, and later served in the Ministry of National Defense as a software development soldier, gaining experience in developing various products. After discharge, I joined an early-stage startup as a product and design team leader.
IT Donga: You started a business at an early age. What led you to decide on entrepreneurship?
CEO Lee Min-kyu: While interviewing for jobs in the U.S., I realized I had many things I wanted to do, and starting a business seemed better than getting a job to achieve them all. Especially in software-related businesses, one can start with relatively fewer resources compared to manufacturing, so I thought I could do better by starting a business based on my majors in design and computer engineering.
While watching a startup competition video in Korea last year, I decided to start a business in Korea. I believed that the competitive spirit of Koreans and the infrastructure of the Korean startup market could support success in the global market. So, I returned to Korea and founded Askitmore with acquaintances in June.
IT Donga: What kind of company is Askitmore?
CEO Lee Min-kyu: Askitmore is a startup developing the AI slide creation agent Snapdeck, which helps anyone easily and quickly create high-quality presentation files. Our vision is to help AI deliver human messages more effectively. The company name means 'ask it more,' reflecting our commitment to creating services by asking users what we do not know.
We are composed of four founding members. Kim Do-yeon, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Shin Min-kyu, an engineer, are college students like me, driving the business with youthful energy and creative ideas. Park Ik-beom, an engineer, is a long-time high school friend and a reliable technical partner with whom I worked for a year and a half at a previous company. All four of us met at the IT startup club SOPT, where we lived and worked together for a month, creating products. Through this process, we completely understood each other's strengths, weaknesses, and work styles, which is the driving force behind our quick decision-making and execution.

Creating User-Customized Slides Without TemplatesIT Donga: What led you to choose an AI slide creation agent as your first business item?
CEO Lee Min-kyu: While preparing for entrepreneurship last year, we developed several apps to improve office work efficiency. We uploaded them to Product Hunt, but the response was not great. For reference, Product Hunt is a global new product introduction platform where SaaS products aiming for global market entry gather. Notion, Figma, and other renowned products have also gone through Product Hunt.
However, when we uploaded a slide creation app, the response was good, with over 1,000 subscribers in just 20 days. We saw a market opportunity here and founded Askitmore with this item.
IT Donga: Please introduce Snapdeck.
CEO Lee Min-kyu: Creating aesthetically pleasing and high-quality presentation files requires professional design skills. Many people face limitations in visual expression or spend too much time on design. Existing presentation file creation tools have complex interfaces, making them difficult to learn. While AI-based creation services exist, they only fill in predetermined templates, which is disappointing.
We felt the need for a solution that allows anyone to easily and quickly complete professional-level presentation files. We anticipated that such demand would be even greater in the global market. Thus, we developed Snapdeck.
Snapdeck is an AI slide creation agent that completes professional presentation files with just a single prompt. The AI infers the user's intent, finds the appropriate data, and generates elements such as charts, graphs, layouts, and themes based on that data. Users input their desired content, check the table of contents and color tones suggested by the AI, and click the generate button to view high-quality presentation files.
Snapdeck's core competitive advantages are ▲natural and professional results ▲convenience through a chat interface ▲fast production speed.
First, Snapdeck provides natural and professional results. Existing AI-based slide creation services fill in predetermined templates. Snapdeck does not offer templates. It accurately understands the user's intent and creates customized slides where each element harmonizes, providing natural and professional results.
Additionally, Snapdeck allows real-time edits through a chat interface. Users can request changes in natural language, such as "change the bar graph to a line graph" or "change all selected text to white." This significantly simplifies the slide editing process. There is no need to learn complex editing tools. Of course, users can still make changes using clicks or drags as before.
The final competitive advantage is fast production speed. Once the user clicks the generate button, the results are provided within 1-2 minutes, which is up to five times faster than other services. This enhances work efficiency.
Through these competitive advantages, Snapdeck serves as a professional presentation partner rather than just a simple slide creation tool. Users can significantly reduce the time spent on document work and focus more on storytelling and message delivery.
Snapdeck selected as Product of the Week on Product Hunt / Source=Askitmore
Snapdeck Receives Praise in the Global MarketIT Donga: Please tell us about the achievements following the launch of Snapdeck.
CEO Lee Min-kyu: We aimed for the global market from the beginning. Currently, it only supports English, and the product launch was also done on Product Hunt. We first uploaded Snapdeck to Product Hunt in March. At that time, it was an initial model providing only slide generation functions. After adding various features and improving the quality of results, we officially launched it on September 22.
On the launch day, it ranked second for Product of the Day, and a week later, it was selected as Product of the Week. This was due to positive feedback and evaluations from global users who actually experienced the product. Currently, Snapdeck is receiving evaluations such as "really fast," "the quality of the results is amazing," and "it's convenient to edit with natural language" from users.
Thanks to this, the number of users is rapidly increasing even without separate promotions or marketing. As of October 10, it has surpassed 10,000 users, with over 95% being overseas users. Interest is high in the United States and India, with many users from Canada and Europe as well. We believe this is evidence that Snapdeck is being recognized for its practical value in the global market.
IT Donga: You are currently receiving support from the University of Seoul Campus Town. What kind of support have you received?
CEO Lee Min-kyu: We received support for facility rental costs from the University of Seoul Campus Town, allowing us to secure office space for four people to work together at a low cost. Additionally, through free support for shared office equipment, we can use basic office supplies like printers, meeting monitors, and whiteboards without separate purchases, significantly saving initial operating costs.
Various startup support programs have also been very helpful. Through the mentoring program, we received practical advice on business strategy formulation and the investment attraction process, and through networking with other resident companies, we gained opportunities for information exchange and collaboration. The brand of Campus Town itself has the effect of enhancing external credibility, which helps give a positive impression during meetings with investors or partners.
The support from the University of Seoul Campus Town is providing practical help to early startups like us. Thanks to this, we could fully concentrate on product development, which led to our success on Product Hunt.

Adding Various Features, Expanding to Global and B2B MarketsIT Donga: Lastly, please tell us about your future plans and goals.
CEO Lee Min-kyu: First, we plan to further strengthen our core competitive advantages of speed, accuracy, and high quality. We are also preparing features to enhance the product's completeness and marketability. We plan to add new features such as team collaboration, automatic application of branding guidelines, support for various file formats, editing and modifying existing presentation files, and integration with existing collaboration tools. Through this, we aim to achieve 100,000 monthly active users (MAU) by the end of 2025 and an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of USD 1 million (approximately KRW 1.4 billion) by 2026.
We plan to first target the North American and European markets and then expand to the Asia-Pacific region. We will participate in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 in Silicon Valley on October 27 to showcase Snapdeck to local investors and potential customers. Additionally, we have secured office space in the U.S. through advancing to the finals of the Jeong Joo-young Startup Competition, which we aim to use as a bridgehead for entering the North American market.
We are also considering entering the B2B market. We are currently preparing an enterprise version, which will include features such as deployment on corporate servers to prevent data leakage and application of corporate-exclusive themes. The enterprise version is being developed with a target release in January 2026.
Our ultimate goal is to 'help AI deliver human messages more effectively.' Starting with presentations, our vision is to build a platform where AI can play a meaningful role in all communication processes between people.
