EdTech company Glorang Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Tae-il) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for technical advisory with Professor Yoon Se-young of the KAIST OSI Lab to enhance a 'small language model (sLLM)' specialized in education.

This collaboration is part of Glorang's ongoing project to advance AI career design and educational prescription technology. The core of this partnership is to apply a high-efficiency, high-reliability language model (Reasoning-based sLLM) to the AI career design and counseling solution 'Pyxii,' currently under development.

The KAIST OSI Lab, led by Professor Yoon, is at the forefront of research on LLM efficiency and lightweighting (On-device LLM) and the enhancement of reasoning-based inference performance. Through this collaboration, Glorang aims to integrate KAIST's technical expertise to jointly research the design of an sLLM architecture optimized for the education domain and improve model reliability.

With this collaboration, Glorang will expand the technical completeness and research scope of educational sLLM to the next level. The partnership with Professor Yoon aims to commercialize advanced reasoning AI technology that goes beyond simple analysis of educational data to understanding and predicting students' career paths and learning processes. Moving forward, Glorang plans to enhance the precision, efficiency, and real-time applicability of educational AI models based on this collaboration, developing in a direction that provides practical value to both teachers and learners.
