Samsung Electronics reported that it held the '2025 C-Lab Startup Demo Day' at the Seoul R&D Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 20th.

This event serves as a platform to share the achievements of Samsung Electronics' internal and external startup incubation program (C-Lab) and to expand investment and collaboration opportunities.

Samsung Electronics has been operating the spin-off system and the external startup incubation program 'C-Lab Outside' since the launch of 'C-Lab Inside' in 2012, and has discovered and nurtured a total of 959 startups to date. Since 2018, the support has expanded to include the discovery of regional startups in areas such as Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongbuk, nurturing over 40 companies.

This year's Demo Day featured 30 startups from the 7th generation of C-Lab Outside, presenting their business achievements over the past year and introducing the current status of technology development and business plans in promising fields such as AI, digital health, robotics, and ESG. Ten companies, including Aidin Robotics, Geogrid, and Idea Ocean, presented collaboration cases with Samsung Electronics, sharing joint development and business application achievements. Five graduated startups, including Luten Technologies, also participated to present their growth stories.

Samsung Electronics stated that the 7th generation startups hired 218 new employees and attracted investments totaling KRW 34.5 billion during the program period. The event was attended by over 400 people, including Lee Eon-ju, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Park Seung-hee, President of CR at Samsung Electronics.

Lee Eon-ju emphasized the importance of startup growth and the need for expanded support, while Park Seung-hee evaluated C-Lab as an "open collaboration platform where large corporations and startups grow together."

Samsung Electronics projected that the number of C-Lab nurtured startups will exceed 1,000 next year and stated its commitment to expanding the startup ecosystem through continued investment and collaboration.
