The health check-up platform 'Chakhan Doctor' has surpassed 2 million cumulative users, continuing its growth trajectory. Amid increased interest in personal health management following COVID-19, the platform has particularly seen a notable rise in usage among women in their 30s and 40s, establishing itself as a leading domestic check-up and health management platform.

According to statistics from the advertising analysis tool Airbridge, as of September this year, the number of Chakhan Doctor app installers reached 2,027,773, marking an approximately 20.4% increase compared to the same period last year (1,683,661). Notably, the proportion of female users has been rising annually, currently standing at 56%, with the majority being in their 30s (45%) and 40s (21%). Due to the nature of female users who manage family health, the family proxy reservation rate reached 30%, and the recommendation rate through the check-up product sharing function has been steadily increasing.

The users of Chakhan Doctor increased from 800,000 in 2022, to 1.3 million in 2023, to 1.7 million in 2024, and surpassed 2 million this year. This growth is the result of changing public health management awareness and the popularization of platform-based medical consumption. Particularly, the trend towards preventive health management, increased use of personal health data, and the digitalization of check-up services have driven market growth.

Despite the activation of health check-up platforms, there are still challenges to address. According to an internal survey conducted by Chakhan Doctor in August 2025 (allowing multiple responses), 81% of respondents said, "There are too many check-up products, and I don't know which tests to choose," while 61% said, "Interpreting the check-up results is difficult, and there is a lack of consultation."

This reflects the limitations of information asymmetry and non-personalized online information. To address these issues, Chakhan Doctor has provided features such as health check-up product comparison, detailed examination information like endoscopy room operation status, AI test recommendations tailored to individual needs, and hospital visitor reviews and ratings, enabling consumers to easily select necessary tests and create a trustworthy environment based on actual user reviews.

Additionally, through services like the generative AI 'Doctor AI' for anytime assistance related to health check-ups and 'Medical Professional Consultation' for health status counseling, Chakhan Doctor has completed a total care experience that extends to post-check-up management.
