AIVIS, a Korean AI digital pathology-based precision medicine solution company, visited major cancer treatment institutions in India to discuss the introduction of digital pathology AI solutions and joint research plans.

AIVIS announced that, as part of the “Global ICT Future Unicorn Promotion (ICT GROWTH) Program” supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), it conducted business matching by visiting HCG Hospital, Manipal Hospital, and Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Bengaluru, India, on the 16th and 17th.

AIVIS introduced its digital pathology software “Qanti IHC” and “Qanti Discovery” to officials at local medical institutions. It explained Qanti IHC’s analytical accuracy, processing speed, and compatibility with major pathology scanners, and presented ways to support the development of advanced biopharmaceuticals such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) based on indication-specific biomarker discovery and patient stratification using Qanti Discovery.

During this visit, AIVIS discussed options for introducing solutions tailored to the local medical environment and the potential for cooperation in research and business areas. The company plans to continue follow-up consultations according to each hospital’s level of readiness.

An AIVIS official said, “Through this visit, the company confirmed demand in the Indian digital pathology market and the potential for cooperation in research and business fields,” adding, “Follow-up measures will be carried out in line with each hospital’s state of readiness.”

A NIPA official stated, “This became an opportunity for domestic medical AI companies to meet directly with Indian medical institutions, introduce their technologies, and explore cooperation opportunities,” and added, “NIPA will continue to support domestic ICT companies in entering global markets and generating export achievements.”

The “Global ICT Future Unicorn Promotion (ICT GROWTH) Program” is a project in which the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency identify ICT companies with high global growth potential and support them in overseas expansion, investment, and financing. Through local programs and commercialization support for companies’ overseas market entry, the program helps drive the global growth of Korean ICT companies.
