TEN, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure optimization solutions, announced that its hardware resource efficiency solution “AIPub” has passed the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ review for “First Half of 2026 Innovative Products” and obtained designation approval.

Amid continued increases in AI accelerator unit prices and ongoing supply delays, AIPub has been developed to improve the operational efficiency of GPU resources held by private companies and government ministries. By minimizing idle GPU resources and enabling AI workloads to be handled with limited resources, it helps reduce the burden of additional infrastructure investment costs for institutions.

Until now, government ministries, national universities, and scientific research institutes—where multiple research teams and departments share a limited number of GPUs—have cited management complexity in areas such as resource allocation, usage tracking, and system error response as major challenges. AIPub addresses these management issues through technology that virtually divides a single physical GPU resource into up to 100 blocks for allocation by department and project. In addition, with real-time monitoring capabilities, it uses its built-in LLM engine to analyze the root cause of failures (RCA) when anomalies occur, and it also provides a function to calculate actual charges based on utilization rates by project.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Innovative Product Designation Program evaluates the technological innovation and public benefit of products developed with support such as government R&D funding, and supports their initial market access and entry into the public procurement market. With this designation, AIPub will retain its innovative product status for three years, and public institutions may adopt the solution through private contracts based on relevant regulations.

AIPub completed its registration on the Public Procurement Service’s Nara Marketplace Digital Service Mall in April. With the additional innovative product designation, an institutional foundation has been established for public-sector officials to review the solution and proceed with procurement procedures.

Oh Se-jin, CEO of TEN, stated, “Through this designation, AIPub has been recognized as a technological alternative capable of resolving issues related to resource allocation, idle GPUs, and failure response in public AI infrastructure,” adding, “By continuously advancing the solution and strengthening support services, we will expand supply to the public market, including central government ministries, local governments, research institutions, and national and public universities.”
