Aria Studio announced on the 2nd that it has officially launched an audience-participatory screening format called 'Interactive Cinema' utilizing AI technology in collaboration with CJ CGV. Aria Studio also unveiled the first three works to be released in this format.

Interactive Cinema is an experiential screening format where the content development changes according to the audience's voice and emotional reactions. Unlike the traditional one-way viewing structure with predetermined content, this format features the audience's choices being reflected in the composition of certain scenes. It is designed so that audiences can experience different outcomes based on their chosen methods.

The first release is the animation 'Interactive Shinbi Apartment: Whisper of the Theater Ghost.' This work applies a participatory structure to the Shinbi Apartment IP, allowing the audience to solve incidents alongside the characters.

Following this, 'Virtual Symphony: The First Note,' centered around the virtual idol Moonbona, will be screened. This format combines an animation-based story with live performance elements, allowing viewers to enjoy Moonbona's character universe and music simultaneously.

The thriller 'Apartment: Ripley's World' will also be screened as Interactive Cinema. Set in 2080, it depicts the investigation process of a detective entering the memories of a brain-dead teenager to find clues to an unresolved past case. The film is designed so that the viewing experience varies depending on the exploration path chosen by the audience.

Chae Soo-eung, CEO of Aria Studio, stated, "The goal is to present a new viewing experience where the audience's choices are reflected in the narrative development," adding, "We plan to expand this format to be applicable to various genres."
