The role of generative AI is expanding to the level of performing corporate tasks. Beyond summarizing information and translation, the era of 'AI Agents' that directly handle actual work processes has arrived. AI Agents are autonomous software systems that achieve given goals through complex reasoning, acting as virtual assistants.

While more companies are adopting AI Agents, the lack of established methodologies or structures for implementation results in high uncertainty. Many companies face difficulties in effectively training and applying AI due to fragmented data structures and complex processes.

Langcode, a startup addressing these issues, develops and supplies a specialized generative agent platform for enterprises. It offers the 'CXP (Conversational AI eXperience Platform)' to help corporate clients quickly adopt and utilize AI. Additionally, through the 'Integrated Agent Hub,' Langcode supports companies in flexibly leveraging the advantages of various AI technologies. Langcode aims for an 'AI democratization' platform that allows not just a few developers but also field personnel to apply and expand AI in their work.

Kim Min-jun, CEO of Langcode, experienced the trend of technology reshaping economic and social structures and decided that directly utilizing technology is crucial for a deep understanding of the economy. This led him to switch his major from Economics to Computational Science at Seoul National University. He gained experience in product development and commercialization as CTO at an AI-based foreign language learning startup and founded Langcode with the intent to solve challenges faced in software (SW) development. Initially starting as a chatbot for SW development support, Langcode evolved into a corporate generative agent platform company as client demands expanded across various industries. Kim emphasized the importance of becoming a technology company that provides real value to customers.

Core Competitiveness of CXP: Automatic Agent Creation and Management


Langcode's CXP is a platform that facilitates the easy creation and utilization of customized AI agents for personalized Q&A and task automation based on corporate data. The core of CXP is Langcode's proprietary agentic AI engine, which automatically optimizes AI agent prompts and workflows according to the unique data and business processes of each client. For instance, while general AI models excel in tasks like translation and summarization, they lack accuracy in operational environments where internal regulations and specialized terminology are involved. Langcode supports the development of AI agents tailored to companies by optimally combining various AI models depending on the situation.

CXP can be applied across various industries, including finance, distribution, manufacturing, heavy industry, telecommunications, and public sectors. It demonstrates strong hierarchical reasoning performance beyond document search and summarization in complex and specialized fields. Kim noted that while most agents are based on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for document or regulation Q&A, there are increasing cases of collaboration with experts in specialized fields to analyze and understand complex data in real-time.

The biggest advantage is that field personnel can directly create AI agents and apply and expand them in their work. Unlike the typical AI development approach, where professional developers or engineers must manually modify code, CXP allows AI agents to adapt to changes or operate according to new situations with simple user feedback, even when data is added or modified.

Era of Multi-Agent Systems, Launch of the Integrated Agent Hub

As AI agents are applied across various departments and tasks within companies, numerous agents are being created for each company. The problem is that these agents cannot communicate with each other, making flexible use difficult. The new challenge has emerged as not just adopting a single agent but securing and flexibly utilizing the advantages of various AI technologies.


Langcode presents the 'Integrated Agent Hub' as a solution. This solution integrates different agents and coordinates collaboration. When a user issues a command, it automatically selects the agent optimized for the task, aligns the task sequence, and integrates the results to provide to the user. It is also called a 'multi-agent orchestration hub' because it practically coordinates collaboration among detailed agents. Orchestration refers to the technology of coordinating different agents according to requirements and tasks, much like conducting an orchestra.

Kim stated, “Many companies miss out on synergies because they create various agents for regulation search, approval, meeting room reservations, etc., but cannot use them in conjunction.” He defined the Integrated Hub as an operating system that connects and collaborates all agents within a company. It integrates not only agents created in CXP but also those made on other platforms.

The technical differentiation of the Integrated Agent Hub lies in Langcode's 'Moderator.' The Moderator explores and evaluates the usage of other agents. Kim noted, “Communication between AI agents requires standardized protocols, but many existing systems or chatbots in the field do not follow standards.” He added, “Langcode automates even these non-standard environments, reducing the risk of relying on specific AI and allowing flexible integration without needing to modify existing systems when new technologies emerge.”

Langcode maintains a complementary partnership with Microsoft. Kim stated, “Beyond user education and existing service integration supported by Microsoft, Langcode can provide AI agents specialized in complex data and business processes that Copilot cannot address.” He emphasized, “The Integrated Agent Hub is a future game-changer,” adding, “We commercialized it in September this year and signed a contract with a major telecommunications company upon launch. As the maturity of AI agent adoption in companies increases, the demand for and cases of adopting the Integrated Hub will grow.”

Accelerating Overseas Market Expansion…Providing Customized AI


Founded in 2020, Langcode has secured about 40 domestic and international large enterprise clients across various industries, including finance, distribution, manufacturing, heavy industry, telecommunications, and public sectors. This year, it completed the implementation and productization of core technologies, including the Integrated Agent Hub, and is currently attracting Series A investment for significant growth. Kim stated, “Although the company is in the growth stage, the technology and customer cases we have secured are highly regarded not only in Korea but also globally.”

Kim noted, “The challenge is to systematically establish the most practical and realistic AI agent adoption methodologies with customers to meet their expectations,” adding, “Beyond providing consulting, we are considering building a system where AI itself suggests AI utilization methods by gathering AI utilization know-how. Beyond the level of agent collaboration, we aim to advance to a level where AI autonomously decides and proceeds with tasks once a direction is set by humans.”

Langcode has considered overseas market expansion from its inception. Kim stated, “The strategy is to provide customized AI that meets the different regulations and security requirements of markets such as the Middle East, Europe, and Singapore.” Notably, the Integrated Agent Hub is undergoing technology verification projects with government agencies in Dubai, UAE, and plans to accelerate overseas expansion based on SaaS by 2026.

The success of these achievements is attributed to the support of the Seoul Business Agency (SBA)'s open innovation and global expansion support programs. Kim stated, “The SBA support program provided substantial assistance by offering a structure that generates tangible results, such as deriving specific collaboration cases and connecting with overseas investors and partners, beyond mere financial support.” Additionally, Langcode participates in SBA's super-gap open innovation promotion support program, which aims to enhance companies' external promotion and marketing capabilities through effective promotion support for super-gap selected companies.

Finally, Kim emphasized, “As we are gaining attention in overseas markets with technological differentiation and excellent customer cases, we aim to lead the market in handling complex tasks beyond the limitations of single agents through the Integrated Agent Hub,” adding, “Ultimately, Langcode aims to support companies in focusing on creative work and becoming a partner that realizes collaboration between AI and humans.”
