This alliance embodies the philosophy of joint growth under 'Co-Acquire, Co-Rebuild, Co-Scale', with the intent to build a global brand house together with partners from each country. AU BRANDZ aims to establish itself as the most powerful fashion alliance in Asia through Rockfish Weatherwear. Furthermore, it presented a global vision to establish joint ventures with partners from various Asian countries starting with China, create synergy by combining strengths, and aim for listings on stock markets in each country.
Rockfish Weatherwear has recently accelerated its global expansion by opening stores in major hub cities such as Bangkok, Tokyo, Harajuku, and Hangzhou. The Emsphere flagship store in Bangkok, Thailand, and the Laforet Harajuku store in Japan have quickly expanded brand recognition by attracting attention from local consumers and media immediately after opening. Additionally, it is expanding its global store network by consecutively opening stores in major Asian commercial districts such as Hong Kong's K11 MUSEA and flagship stores in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, China.
AU BRANDZ is also pursuing a growth strategy based on a global operational infrastructure. It has established an efficient supply chain centered around the Shanghai Logistics Hub in China and plans to implement a system that responds swiftly to market trend changes through a design and creative studio network connecting Seoul, London, and Tokyo. Furthermore, it is enhancing brand exposure through London Fashion Week and Paris Showroom, expanding its presence in the global market.
Hoo Wontak, General Manager of the China subsidiary who attended the event, expressed, "It is very meaningful to embark on a new journey in the global market with AU BRANDZ," and added, "Rockfish Weatherwear is already rapidly growing in the Chinese market, and we will continue to leap forward on the global stage through close cooperation."
AU BRANDZ plans to build a brand ecosystem based on global partnerships through this global alliance. The journey of Rockfish Weatherwear is now continuing into a new global chapter created together with Asian partners.
