The '2025 Robot World (ROBOTWORLD 2025)', hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and jointly organized by the Korea AI & Robot Industry Association, Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, and the Institute of Control, Robotics and Systems, has opened.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Robot World 2025 is being held from November 5 to 8 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, Halls 1 and 2. This year's Robot World features a record-breaking scale with participation from 350 companies, including 300 domestic and 50 international firms, across 1,000 booths. The organizers aim to attract approximately 50,000 visitors.

This exhibition will prominently showcase the global competitiveness and future vision of the K-Robot industry, with a significant unveiling of next-generation technologies and solutions, particularly humanoid robots, AI robots, and autonomous driving and logistics robots.

Alongside the industrial exhibition, the International Symposium on Robotics (ISR Asia) is being held concurrently. The International Symposium on Robotics is an academic conference organized by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), where experts from industry, academia, and research in the global robotics field present innovative research achievements. It consists of four tracks and 40 sessions, covering humanoids, artificial intelligence, automation, and cybersecurity.

Programs aimed at generating substantial business outcomes have been significantly enhanced. From November 5 to 7, an export and purchase consultation meeting with domestic and international buyers will take place, and on November 7, the 'Startup Innovation Day' will be held to support startups in attracting investment and settling in the market, backing their global expansion. Additionally, on November 8, a live commerce (new product launching show) will be held to introduce new products from participating companies.

A representative from the Korea AI & Robot Industry Association stated, "This year's Robot World marks its 20th anniversary, serving as a pivotal turning point for the Korean robot industry to reflect on its achievements and leap into the future global market," adding, "We will further solidify the status of K-Robot as a practical global business platform where industry, technology, talent, and investment converge in one place."
