PersonaAI announced that it won third place in the AI Solutions category at the 'Gen AI Competition' held in Beijing last October.

PersonaAI is a company that provides AICC (Artificial Intelligence Contact Center) and Edge AI services based on fundamental artificial intelligence technology. It possesses self-developed AI models such as LAM (Large Action Model), VLA (Vision Language Action Model), and sLLM.

PersonaAI stated that after being selected as a '2025 Preliminary Unicorn' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, it has been expanding its business domain in the Physical AI sector, continuing its growth trajectory. They evaluated this achievement as another recognition of their technological prowess following a U.S. competition in 2023.

The self-developed on-device AI model 'SONA' operates without internet connectivity or a GPU. It is a compact model quantized up to 2B, performing functions such as video and image generation and language modeling, and is applied across various industries including AI PCs, servers, robots, and medical devices.

PersonaAI is also developing 'AI Agent Robot' technology based on the SONA model. According to PersonaAI, this model, which functions as the 'brain' of the robot, is designed to recognize speech, understand situations, and make autonomous decisions. By not using a GPU, it offers high cost-efficiency and scalability, leading to expanded collaboration with global robot manufacturers and semiconductor companies.

In terms of security, it is reported that the on-device inference structure is applied to prevent sensitive data from being transmitted externally. Additionally, by directly integrating the AI engine within products, it has a structure that does not incur additional licensing costs even with increased usage.

This technological structure is said to provide stability and efficiency to both hardware businesses and end users. In practice, it has formed strategic partnerships with numerous domestic and international hardware manufacturers and is participating in the government's Physical AI strategy and industry standardization planning.

Yoo Seung-jae, CEO of PersonaAI, stated, "Physical AI is a key area that enhances productivity and competitiveness across industries," adding, "We will focus on sustainable growth centered on technology and expanding into the global market."
