GS Group has decided to collaborate with global artificial intelligence (AI) company Vercel to accelerate AI transformation (AX) innovation.

On the 23rd (local time), GS Group announced that it signed a strategic partnership (MOU) with Vercel at the AI conference 'Ship AI 2025' held in San Francisco, USA. Vercel is a global cloud platform company that recently introduced the development tool 'v0', which utilizes 'Vibe Coding', an AI that automatically writes code based on user input. As of last month, its corporate value reached USD 9.3 billion (KRW 11.25 trillion).

Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly discover innovation cases in industrial fields using Vibe Coding. They will also pursue technological cooperation to enhance GS's AX platform, 'Miso'. The plan is to create an environment where employees who do not know coding can input ideas as if conversing with AI, resulting in the implementation of actual user interfaces such as web pages, work tools, and data dashboards. The goal is to reduce dependence on IT departments or external developers and achieve 'developerization of all employees', enabling field staff to directly create AI applications optimized for their work.

Centered around GS Group's digital innovation task force '52g', more than 140 AI tools developed directly by field employees are currently being implemented in various areas such as production sites, logistics, and customer data analysis.

This collaboration is in line with the philosophy of 'field-centered AI transformation' emphasized by Huh Tae-soo, Chairman of GS Group. Chairman Huh has consistently emphasized that "the true value of AI lies in the field" and that "it is the field employees who create substantial change by utilizing AI as a tool."
