Enterprise solution specialist Younglimwon Soft Lab announced on the 23rd that it has secured the project to build the next-generation administrative Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, 'K-System Ace', for the Academy of Korean Studies.
The Academy of Korean Studies, a national research institute under the Ministry of Education, was established in 1978 and is a public institution conducting in-depth research and education on Korean culture. It is engaged in deep Korean studies research projects, nurturing talent through the Graduate School of Korean Studies, promoting Korean cultural exchanges and accurate information about Korea, and compiling Korean studies knowledge content.
This project aims to efficiently operate major administrative tasks such as budget, personnel, and research project management by linking administrative data and research support functions into a single integrated platform.
Younglimwon Soft Lab plans to build an optimal ERP system reflecting the specificity of research institutions based on its extensive experience in public institution projects and its ERP solution 'K-System Ace'. The system will enhance work processing speed and support accurate decision-making through the automation of various administrative procedures and real-time data analysis functions.
Kim Nak-nyeon, President of the Academy of Korean Studies, stated, “The construction of the next-generation ERP is not merely a system improvement but a digital innovation that elevates our competitiveness as a research-centered institution. By streamlining administrative management, we will create an environment where researchers can fully immerse themselves in Korean studies research and education, and actively promote the globalization of Korean studies.”
Kwon Young-beom, CEO of Younglimwon Soft Lab, stated, “We will successfully complete the system construction so that the Academy of Korean Studies can leap forward as a global hub for research and education.”
Younglimwon Soft Lab has strengthened its position as a digital innovation partner in the public sector by successfully executing numerous public institution ERP projects, including those for the Korea Power Exchange, Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Korea Forest Welfare Institute.
