SMC International Co., Ltd.'s premium dessert brand 'DESSERT39' is accelerating its entry into major overseas markets, taking significant steps towards the globalization of 'K-Dessert'.

DESSERT39 is a dessert cafe franchise brand that captures both health and trends, and is currently expanding into global markets such as Mongolia, the Philippines, and the United States. The first store opened in the heart of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, records approximately 900 visitors per day, and a second store is scheduled to open near the state department store by the end of October. The company is continuously expanding its stores in collaboration with local partner Bluemon Group, aiming for differentiation with localized menus such as the 'Tteokbokki Set'.

In the Philippines, the first store will open at the end of November in Manila's largest shopping mall, 'SM Mall of Asia'. In the United States, a master franchise agreement has been signed with 101 Holdings Inc., with plans to expand to 150 stores starting in Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.

DESSERT39's signature menu items, such as Croquant Choux, Tokyo Roll, and Bagels, harmonize Korean sentiment with global sensibilities and are well-received as low-sugar wellness desserts. Zero-calorie, low-sugar beverages are also gaining popularity, establishing the brand as a premium cafe that satisfies both health and taste.

A brand representative stated, "If K-pop has led the global music market, now it's time for K-Dessert to lead the global culinary culture," adding, "We will continue to focus on developing new menus and expanding overseas stores to promote the value of Korean desserts worldwide."
