The global business building company KILSA Global (co-CEOs Philip Park and Sean Tan) has signed a global collaboration agreement with AI optimization and lightweighting technology startup Nota (CEO Myungsoo Chae) for entry into the Southeast Asian market.


Through this agreement, KILSA Global will oversee the entire process of introducing Nota's 'Nota Vision Agent (NVA)' into the Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. For this purpose, Nota will provide NVA-based AI solutions applicable across various industries, while KILSA Global will assist Nota's entry into the Southeast Asian market by leveraging local personnel and networks.

The two companies plan to expand the influence of Nota's AI solutions across the Southeast Asian market through a phased strategy, from market entry, identifying key customers, and promoting pilot projects to establishing partnerships, managing operations, business development, and regional expansion.

Nota is an AI technology startup that develops and supplies AI model optimization platforms and on-device AI solutions, with offices in Korea (Seoul, Daejeon), North America, and Europe. It has secured over KRW 50 billion in Series C investment and is currently pursuing a listing on the KOSDAQ market. Last year, it received an 'A, A' grade in the technology special listing evaluation.


As Nota's NVA is a video surveillance solution based on a Vision Language Model (VLM) capable of real-time monitoring, it primarily targets areas with high demand in Southeast Asia, such as Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), manufacturing, industrial/public safety, and disaster prevention. Subsequently, it plans to expand its business scope to logistics and retail, where the solution can be applied.

To ensure a successful initial business setup, KILSA Global will focus on △establishing B2B partnerships with local companies engaged in manufacturing/construction safety/facility management and logistics businesses △identifying B2G demand with local government agencies related to smart cities △collecting data/feedback for solution localization and system integration, regulatory compliance △securing and managing pilot projects.

Nota CEO Myungsoo Chae stated, "Southeast Asia is a market with significant growth potential, and localization and networking are key to practically applying and expanding our technology in the global market," adding, "Through collaboration with KILSA Global, we will establish a stable business foundation throughout Southeast Asia, starting with Singapore."
