Agri-tech-based smart farming solutions company Greenfarms Global Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Ahn Hae-sung and Hwang Ik-seon) has been promoted to a “Class 1 greenhouse construction company,” a key qualification standard for large-scale smart farm innovation valley and public procurement tenders, and has simultaneously been registered as an official “greenhouse designer.”

According to the “2026 Greenhouse Installation Construction Capability Evaluation Results (Regular)” published by the Korea Agricultural Facilities Association, Greenfarms Global met criteria such as construction track record, technological capabilities, and financial soundness, and was listed in the top Class 1 category. This achievement comes three years after the establishment of the corporation in 2024.

With this promotion to Class 1 and registration as a greenhouse designer, Greenfarms Global has secured “EPC integrated execution capabilities” that encompass not only greenhouse construction but also engineering, procurement, and construction. The company believes that its professional workforce centered on certified horticultural facility engineers played a key role in this evaluation.

To date, Greenfarms Global has recorded construction performance at more than 50 sites nationwide, ranging from 48-span Daspan plastic greenhouses to hybrid vertical smart plant factories. Through its registration as a designer, the company can now conduct preliminary economic analyses (Pre-ROI) and customized designs that reflect crop characteristics as well as topographical and climatic data, and has built a business structure that extends through “planning–design–construction–operation.”

Having completed the establishment of its in-house corporate research institute and the integration of its agricultural corporation this year, Greenfarms Global plans to leverage its Class 1 construction company status to actively enter the B2G public procurement market and participate in local government innovation valley projects in earnest.

CEO Ahn Hae-sung stated, “This promotion to Class 1 constructor and registration as a greenhouse designer is a result that proves Greenfarms Global’s execution capabilities and technological prowess,” adding, “Going forward, we will integrate our proprietary AI-based zero-discharge resource circulation control technology (GFG-SmartSync Pro) into greenhouse infrastructure to provide farmers with trustworthy integrated smart farm solutions.”

Meanwhile, Greenfarms Global’s core businesses include smart farm design and construction (EPC), AI-based environment/nutrient solution control platforms, and training programs for prospective farmers.
