LG Energy Solution announced on the 22nd that it will participate in “ees Europe 2026,” a specialized exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems, to be held at Messe München in Munich, Germany, from the 23rd to the 25th (local time).

The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Powering the Future of AI.” LG Energy Solution plans to showcase integrated battery solutions for AI data centers, its local production system in Europe, and technologies for complying with battery regulations.

The exhibits will range from battery energy storage systems (BESS) for power grids that respond to the electricity demand of AI data centers to uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and battery backup units (BBU). The company will present a product lineup that supports both grid stabilization and emergency power supply for data centers.

For grid-scale ESS systems, it will exhibit the “JF2S DC LINK 5.0.” This product uses the “JF2S,” a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell dedicated to ESS and produced at its Wrocław plant in Poland. The company explained that it has established a production system in which everything from battery cell manufacturing to system supply is carried out locally in Poland.

The company will also introduce its cybersecurity technologies. According to LG Energy Solution, it sources key electrical and electronic components from security-certified suppliers and applies the latest security standards to guard against external hacking threats.

The next-generation “JP6 UPS Rack” system and the “2170 BBU” for high-performance servers will also be unveiled. These products supply power to data centers during blackouts or other emergencies to prevent operational interruptions.

The company will further present its progress in complying with European battery regulations. It plans to install a kiosk at the exhibition to demonstrate a “battery passport” that digitally manages information on the entire life cycle of batteries, including production, use, and recycling.

LG Energy Solution intends to respond to changes in regulations such as European battery rules and the Net-Zero Industry Act by leveraging its battery passport compliance framework and the local supply chain built around its Polish plant.

An LG Energy Solution official said, “We plan to showcase battery solutions essential for AI data center power infrastructure and our local production capabilities in Europe,” adding, “Based on our regulatory compliance capabilities, we will expand business opportunities in the European market.”
