Wirobotics announced on the 25th that it will operate an experience booth at the 'Black Yak Club Day' to be held at Elysian Gangchon in Chuncheon, Gangwon on the 27th. Event participants will have the opportunity to try on the company's new wearable robot, 'WIM S'.

This experience is available for free to anyone attending the event. Wirobotics has set up the booth to allow the general public, who may be unfamiliar with wearable robots, to easily wear the device and experience various modes, demonstrating the technology's utility.

The 'WIM S' is a lightweight product weighing approximately 1.6 kg, designed to be comfortable for extended wear. It features ergonomic design and IP65-rated dust and water resistance, making it suitable for outdoor activities by minimizing noise.

It offers four walking support modes (Air, Hiking, Care, Aqua), which can be utilized in various situations such as walking uphill, trail running, and jogging. The dedicated app-linked training program 'WIM UP' also allows for personalized exercise management.

Black Yak has been hosting 'Club Day' since 2018 and has officially introduced trail running competitions since 2023. This year's event will feature three courses of 12.7 km, 8 km, and 26 km, with approximately 2,000 runners and hikers expected to participate.

Last year, Wirobotics held a 'Wearable Robot Hiking Day' at Achasan in Seoul to verify the robot's walking assistance functions with hiking participants. The company aims to widely promote the real value of wearable robots in outdoor activities through participation in this event, advancing the era where 'a single robot assists individual mobility and exercise'.
