Airport Railroad Co., Ltd. announced that at 10:00 a.m. on the 29th (local time), it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation (KRTC) at KRTC’s headquarters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Kaohsiung Metro is a railway operator built under a private investment project model, operating three lines and 77 stations across Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second-largest city and its largest port city. It has established itself as the region’s leading urban railway operator, running the Red Line that connects Kaohsiung International Airport with the city center, as well as Taiwan’s first light rail transit (LRT) system.
