Following the establishment of its local subsidiary in the UAE, Galaxy Corporation has formalized a cooperation relationship with the UAE National Media Authority (NMA).

On the 16th, Cho Seong-hae, head of Galaxy Corporation’s Middle East subsidiary, met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, chairman of the NMA, to discuss directions for cooperation. Subsequently, at the NMA headquarters in Dubai, he held a press briefing with Secretary-General Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi to share future plans.

This cooperation focuses not merely on market entry but on building a new industrial model that combines culture and technology. Starting with the global content event “Bridge Summit,” the two parties plan to pursue various collaborative projects in the entertainment technology (entertech) sector.

Cho stated, “The UAE will become an important hub in the rapidly changing global content industry,” adding, “We expect to present a new type of experience that combines K-content with technology.”

Galaxy Corporation plans to introduce technology-centered entertainment content in the local market, including AI-based content and robot performances, and to push forward a differentiated market strategy.

Sheikh Abdullah said, “This cooperation will be an important case in the UAE’s leap toward becoming a global media hub,” and added, “We will continue to expand collaboration with innovative companies.”

Secretary-General Jamal Al Kaabi stated, “Korea and the UAE have already built cooperative relationships in various fields,” and added, “We expect this case to further expand cooperation between the two countries.”

Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, expressed his intention to broaden cooperation, saying, “Korean technology and content will combine with the Middle Eastern market to create new value.”
