BoiMe, a company specializing in digital signage, announced on the 2nd that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with SNSPOS, a cloud POS solutions company, to accelerate digital transformation in supermarkets and retail channels.

The two companies plan to build an integrated solution that links product, price, promotion, inventory, and sales data generated from POS systems with digital signage in real time. Their goal is to create a structure in which all in-store display content can be controlled in real time through POS settings. They intend to conduct joint sales activities primarily targeting mid- to large-sized supermarkets and regional retail stores.

BoiMe holds technology that automatically reflects price changes, promotion applications, and out-of-stock information through digital menu boards and in-store displays linked to POS systems. SNSPOS supports overall retail store operations such as inventory management, promotion operation, and sales analysis through its cloud-based POS and back-office systems.

With this agreement, the two companies plan to expand the supply of digital signage packages to stores that have already adopted POS systems. They intend to gradually broaden the scope of collaboration to include chain-type supermarkets, multi-channel retail outlets, and warehouse-style pharmacies.

SNSPOS CEO Park Jung-hwan said, “Through cooperation with BoiMe, we will implement a structure in which in-store data is immediately utilized at customer touchpoints,” adding, “This will become a digital transformation model that helps retail stores reduce labor burdens and enhance competitiveness.”

BoiMe CEO Ahn Jae-jung explained, “The goal is to connect POS data and digital signage in real time to improve store operational efficiency and sales.” He added, “Digital signage will establish itself not merely as a promotional tool but as core infrastructure for store operations.”
