Seoul National University of Science and Technology (hereinafter SeoulTech) Startup Support Group’s Early-Stage Startup Package Business Center-supported deep-tech startups received positive evaluations at the “2025 Early-Stage Startup Package Deep-Tech Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day) – Next Stage: Global IR for Growth-Stage Startups” (hereinafter Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day)). In doing so, the SeoulTech Startup Support Group once again demonstrated its reputation as a “startup powerhouse.”


The Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day), co-hosted by the SeoulTech Startup Support Group, the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, Korea University Crimson Startup Support Foundation, and Sinsan Ventures, was held on January 28 at the Art Hall of the Grand Walkerhill Convention Center in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Around 60 participants attended, including early-stage startup package companies, hosting organizations, and investors.

Event moderator Ji-won Ha, Director at Sinsan Ventures, explained, “This event, promoted as part of the 2025 Early-Stage Startup Package Program, is a global linkage program designed to enable startups with technological competitiveness to review their business strategies and growth directions based on the global market beyond the domestic market,” adding, “It was prepared as a formal review platform where startups can assess their current position and concretely design their next steps.”

For the main Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day), around 10 startups participated, with Sinsan Ventures, TS Investment, DSN Holdings, and Shinhan Financial Hope Foundation serving as judges. Each startup was given approximately 10 minutes, including a 5-minute presentation and a 3-minute Q&A session, and the program was conducted in both English and Korean.


In the English pitch segment, presentations were delivered in the order of ▲ Novasquare ▲ AnchorNode ▲ Alicepro ▲ Blackwhoos ▲ Medisensing. Among them, Blackwhoos and Medisensing, both supported by the SeoulTech Startup Support Group Early-Stage Startup Package Center, stood out. Blackwhoos introduced “CURI AI,” a global enterprise AI-based in-depth interview (IDI) and customer analysis solution, while Medisensing presented its advanced AI technology that listens to sounds and interprets their meaning.

The Korean-language pitches were delivered by ▲ Justpin ▲ Deeptree ▲ Glucometrics ▲ GaramBot, in that order. Justpin, a startup supported by the SeoulTech Startup Support Group Early-Stage Startup Package Center, introduced “Bloomi,” an AI companion chatbot service based on its own architecture designed to address social isolation and loneliness through human-level memory and empathy. The company received a wide range of questions from the judges. Justpin responded fluently to questions ranging from how it captures and reflects different cultures and conversational styles when entering overseas markets to its security measures, attracting attention.

In addition, Hyung-seok Jin, Head of Department at the Korea International Trade Association, delivered a lecture on “Strategies and Cases of Startups’ Global Expansion,” while Sung-deuk Kim, Director at Crew Korea, gave a talk on “Strategies for Successful PoC with Japanese Companies.” As they provided useful information for startups, the sessions drew strong responses.

Ho-won Jang, CEO of Justpin, stated, “Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day) was a meaningful experience. It was also an opportunity to broaden our perspective,” and added, “Through networking, we met more founders, investors, and institutional representatives. We even discussed collaboration with some companies.” He went on to say, “I would like to thank the SeoulTech Startup Support Group, the host organizations, and the participating company representatives for organizing such a valuable event.”


Eun-ho Lee, CEO of Blackwhoos, also commented, “We were able to participate in Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day) thanks to the connection made by the SeoulTech Startup Support Group,” adding, “It is not easy for startups to meet various investors individually. I am satisfied that we were able to meet multiple investors and founders in such a good environment. I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future.”

A representative of the SeoulTech Startup Support Group said, “This Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day) served as a meaningful platform for deep-tech startups to objectively assess not only their technological competitiveness but also their fit for the global market and their investment appeal. Meanwhile, Global Open Innovation (Global IR Demo Day) was held as part of the practical program “Global IR Readiness Framework,” which aligns IR structures with global investment perspectives and provides hands-on experience in pitching and receiving feedback. The program consists of ▲ one-on-one IR consulting ▲ Global IR Insight Seminars ▲ IR pitching and feedback ▲ offline networking ▲ support for structuring IR decks and preparing English versions ▲ online demo showcases ▲ Global Open Innovation Insight Seminars, and will run through February.
