Helios Co., Ltd. announced that it presented healthcare management measures for an aging society at the “2026 AX Forum – AI for a Safer Korea Forum” held on the 12th at the main conference hall of the National Assembly Members’ Office Building.
The core agenda proposed by Helios at the event was the practical implementation of an “AI-based home healthcare system.” Helios presented a new method of personal health management through an integrated solution composed of △smart wearable technology △near-infrared-based devices △AI data analysis platform.
The AX Forum addresses as its central theme how AI technology can be applied to solve real-world social problems. The case presented by Helios demonstrates “practical AI utilization” that focuses not on the technology itself but on the specific healthcare needs of an aging society.
This approach, which proposes how to resolve pressing issues such as the increase in the elderly population and the rise in single-person elderly households through technology, offers a pathway for regional companies to simultaneously meet global market and domestic policy demands. It was also noted at “CES 2026” as a case linking global trends with solutions to domestic challenges.

Helios’s technology platform is structured around three core layers.
The first is “smart wearable technology,” designed to enable pattern analysis and change detection through AI algorithms based on 24-hour real-time biometric signal monitoring.
The second is the “HelioStar home healthcare device,” a product that combines the near-infrared technology showcased at “CES 2026” with an AI voice interface. It provides customized health management modes such as heart health monitoring through voice analysis, “Deep Recovery,” and “Peace of Mind.” HelioStar received feedback from local participants such as “The healthcare approach using light is refreshing” and “It is impressive that health can be managed by communicating with the product through AI.”
The third is an “AI data platform,” designed to collect personal health data and link it to health infrastructure at the family, regional, and national levels. It presents multi-layered use cases such as integration with emergency response systems and the utilization of regional public health data.
This combination of technologies aims not only at personal health management but also at establishing a comprehensive health information system for entire communities. A key feature is its integrated approach, which starts from personal wellness devices and extends to public health information infrastructure.
Helios proposed policy-linked measures including △pursuit of medical device certification (domestic medical device approval procedures scheduled for the first half of this year) △establishment of standards enabling personal health data to be connected with public health systems △promotion of home healthcare product distribution projects targeting high-risk groups such as the elderly and single-person elderly households.
Meanwhile, Helios is a company developing a “home AI health management platform” through AI technology and near-infrared-based healthcare solutions. It provides an integrated solution composed of smart wearables, home healthcare devices, and a data analysis platform, and introduced HelioStar to the global market at CES 2026. The company is pursuing a strategy that simultaneously addresses the healthcare needs of Korea’s aging society and the digital trends of the global healthcare market.
