■ Auto Rental Management Platform Chazm Raises KRW 15.1 Billion Investment

Design and Practice (CEO Jung Sang-yeon), which operates the auto lease and rental management platform Chazm, announced on the 27th that it has completed a Series A funding round totaling KRW 15.1 billion.

Leading investor Stonebridge, KB Investment, and FuturePlay participated alongside strategic investors at home and abroad, including Hyundai Motor Group affiliate Zerone Ventures, LX Group affiliate LX Ventures, and the global investment firm Shorooq Partners HQ based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Design and Practice’s cumulative funding has now reached KRW 19.0 billion.

Chazm is a platform that manages the entire process from vehicle contracting, operation, and return to distribution through data.


■ DIDEN Robotics–KAIST Department of Mechanical Engineering Sign Joint Development Agreement on Physical AI

Robotics startup DIDEN Robotics announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement (photo) with the KAIST Department of Mechanical Engineering for joint research and development in the fields of physical artificial intelligence (AI) and humanoid technologies.

Under this agreement, DIDEN Robotics will jointly conduct research projects with researchers at the KAIST Department of Mechanical Engineering on humanoid robot hands and manipulation mechanisms.

DIDEN Robotics is a robotics startup jointly founded in 2024 by four researchers from the HUBO Lab of the KAIST Department of Mechanical Engineering. The company has been developing the magnetic-foot quadruped robot “DIDEN 30,” capable of autonomous walking and adaptation to complex environments. It is building expertise in mobility and physical interaction technologies in unstructured environments, including the shipbuilding industry.
