AI specialist company MangoCloud (CEO Baek Jin-sung) announced on the 21st that it has entered into a partnership for EXAONE, the AI model of LG AI Research Institute.

EXAONE is the first hybrid AI model in Korea that integrates general natural language processing capabilities with advanced reasoning capabilities. It is a model that can be immediately applied in real service environments, recording world-class performance in various areas such as instruction-following ability, long-text comprehension, and agent action execution capabilities, which are core foundations for realizing agentic AI.

Through this partnership, MangoCloud plans to embed EXAONE into its generative AI service “HeyMango” and make it available for use in highly complex fields such as mathematics, science, and computer programming.

In particular, by combining HeyMango’s diverse functions—such as real-time preprocessing of structured and unstructured data and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)—with EXAONE’s high performance, the company expects rapid adoption at industrial sites where AI is needed.

Regarding this, a MangoCloud official stated, “This EXAONE partnership with LG AI Research Institute is an important achievement that can create innovative value in the AI industry, and we are confident that combining LG AI Research Institute’s advanced technology with our generative AI service HeyMango will produce tangible results,” adding, “We will continue to provide services that can be quickly deployed in industrial sites where AI adoption is needed, thereby contributing to productivity improvement through AI.”
