JM Robotics, a company specializing in artificial intelligence service design, announced on the 22nd that it will establish the “AI Frontier Center (AFC).” The company expressed its ambition to take the lead in full-scale artificial intelligence transformation (AX) of public and social services.

JM Robotics has an exclusive partnership with UBTECH, a global leading humanoid robot company, and is supplying its hardware to the domestic market. The company is not limiting itself to simple product distribution, but is seeking service differentiation by adding software optimized for domestic administrative needs and educational environments.

JM Robotics plans to establish “AI Frontier Centers (AIFC)” at key locations nationwide and use them as forward bases for technology demonstration that can be deployed immediately in the field, as well as for talent development. AIFC is the core implementation model of the “Busan Physical AI Ecosystem Development Business Agreement” signed with the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency on the 13th, and will serve as a demonstration center to verify the feasibility of applying high-performance humanoid robots to real-life settings and as a hub supporting AX in local industries.

In addition, in cooperation with Dongguk University, the company is promoting the “Goyang-si Educational Development Special Zone Pilot Project,” which provides education based on physical AI, and the “JMR AI Social Service Research Institute,” which focuses on developing technologies to solve national challenges such as low birth rates and population aging. Through these initiatives, the company is researching “warm AX” models that address deficiencies in local communities.

Kim Dong-jin, CEO of JM Robotics, said, “By combining proven robot hardware with our creative service design capabilities, we will provide AX solutions optimized for Korea’s circumstances,” adding, “We will contribute to solving social issues across the Republic of Korea and to building the foundation for future society.”
