AI demand forecasting specialist company Impactive AI (CEO Jung Doo-hee) will supply AI-based time series quality prediction technology to Germany's Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology (Fraunhofer IWU) and embark on a global manufacturing quality innovation project.

This collaboration is not a one-time agreement but the result of multiple technical meetings and reviews conducted in Germany and Korea, where both parties thoroughly examined each other's expertise and infrastructure. Fraunhofer possesses a high-precision digital twin simulation infrastructure applicable to various manufacturing sites across Europe, while Impactive AI has proposed integration synergy with this platform through its AI technology specialized in time series forecasting.

The core of this project is to accurately predict indicators such as defect rates and normal shipment volumes over time and to maximize the accuracy and generalization performance of AI learning through digital twin-based synthetic data. To achieve this, Impactive AI plans to apply next-generation predictive AI technologies, including advanced transformer models and quantum machine learning-based technologies.

Impactive AI has collaborated with major domestic companies such as CJ CheilJedang, Samsung Group, SK Telecom, Hanmi Science, and Dongkuk Industries to implement a prediction-based decision-making system in demand, inventory, and production areas. Notably, it has officially been recognized for its technological prowess in the European market by winning the Drivery Berlin Marketplace competition in Germany.

Dr. Hendrik Rentzsch of Fraunhofer IWU, who oversaw this collaboration, stated, "Fraunhofer has always pursued the highest level of technology to provide innovative industrial solutions," and added, "The collaboration with Impactive AI is expected to create a powerful technological synergy that can bring about substantial changes in the global manufacturing industry."

Jung Doo-hee, CEO of Impactive AI, emphasized, "Fraunhofer is an institution with the highest technical standards and demonstration capabilities in Europe," and noted, "It is significant that Impactive AI's time series prediction technology has passed the verification of the most demanding market in Germany." He further added, "Through this project, we have secured a bridgehead for entering the advanced manufacturing market in Europe and expect to expand into the global market at large."

Impactive AI plans to continue its global expansion in the manufacturing AI solutions field, based on its specialized technology in time series forecasting.
