Samsung Electronics announced on the 23rd that, ahead of the opening of the global technology trade show “CES 2026,” it will release a teaser video for “The First Look 2026,” an event introducing the show. The theme of this year’s event is “Your Companion to AI Living,” through which Samsung Electronics presents a vision of a future where artificial intelligence (AI) naturally permeates every aspect of daily life.

Samsung Electronics stated that the event reflects its direction “to become a companion that supports users’ everyday lives by combining AI technology with all products and services.” The teaser video is produced in a media art format in which light and lines intersect. Light beams in various colors suggest the forms of new products, symbolizing the integration and consistency of AI technology (connectivity across all devices and services) that Samsung aims to convey. At the end of the video, the light spreads toward Wynn Las Vegas, the event venue, revealing the theme.

“The First Look 2026” will be held at Wynn Las Vegas at 7 p.m. (local time) on January 4 next year, two days before the opening of CES. Starting with the official announcement on that day, Samsung Electronics plans to continue with four days of exhibitions and technology forums through the 7th.

Key executives including TM Roh, President and CEO (Head of DX Division), Seok-woo Yong, Head of Visual Display Business (President), and Cheol-ki Kim, Head of DA Division (Executive Vice President), will take the main stage to share strategies for innovating AI-based customer experiences in their respective business areas.

At the technology forum (January 5–6), a total of four sessions are scheduled to be held on themes such as AI, home appliances, and design. Samsung Electronics plans to sequentially disclose detailed information on the event through the Samsung Electronics Newsroom.
