SK AX, which is leading artificial intelligence (AI) transformation in industrial sites, is moving to build next-generation financial services using AI.

SK AX announced on the 23rd that it will promote the “Mutual Financial Next-Generation Information System Establishment Project” with NongHyup. The project is designed to support NongHyup in strengthening its customized financial services for customers.

This project targets 1,110 NongHyup and Livestock Cooperatives nationwide. It plans to convert business environments by region and industry into data and use them for optimal customer management and marketing. In particular, by integrating AI technology into the work system, the company intends to enable all employees, regardless of technological proficiency, to easily utilize various data, thereby contributing to overall improvement in business efficiency.

An SK AX official said, “Customer segments such as cooperative members, associate members, and local residents of NongHyup and Livestock Cooperatives nationwide will be further subdivided, and customer analysis will be conducted based on generative AI,” adding, “This is expected to enable more sophisticated and systematic customer management and marketing.”

Under this project, over the next two years SK AX will implement: ▲ a “marketing platform” that captures customers’ real-time interests and behavioral patterns to deliver personalized customer management ▲ a “data platform” that enhances the quality, accuracy, and speed of data ▲ a BI (Business Intelligence) portal that allows any employee to easily explore, analyze, and utilize data. The core of the marketing platform is the application of an AI-based customized recommendation function that analyzes customer behavior and interest data to proactively recommend the financial services customers need. It supports the NongHyup and Livestock Cooperatives’ system of “proactively assisting financial services.” The company also plans to introduce a single-view consultation environment that allows customer information to be viewed on a single screen, significantly improving on-site consultation accuracy and processing speed.

The data platform will standardize terminology, which has differed by department or system, and will introduce a metadata management system that automatically tracks data change history and impact. This is expected to improve work efficiency, as NongHyup and Livestock Cooperatives nationwide will be able to search and utilize customer information based on a unified standard.

The self-service BI (Business Intelligence) function, which enables AI to perform analysis in response to natural-language questions, is expected to further strengthen the customer response capabilities of NongHyup and Livestock Cooperatives. Regardless of technical proficiency, any employee will be able to easily utilize data, meaning all customers will be able to receive uniformly high-quality services.

To improve the stability and speed of building the large-scale information system, SK AX will apply its proprietary AI-based development automation platform “DAVIS (Delivery AI Agent & Virtual Intelligence Suite)” throughout the project. The concept is that AI supports repetitive tasks such as requirements analysis, data model design, and test automation. The company expects to reduce analysis and design time and improve development quality by enabling real-time identification of design change history and impact.
