SPC Group is joining hands with Naver to accelerate the transition to AI across its overall management.

Sectainine, SPC Group’s IT and marketing solutions affiliate, announced on the 17th that it had signed a “Business Agreement for AI Innovation Specialized in F&B” with AI platform company Naver Cloud on the 16th at NAVER 1784 in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province.

The two companies will work to build an “AI-based F&B platform” by combining Naver Cloud’s advanced AI technologies and stable cloud infrastructure with the F&B retail business experience and data that SPC Group has accumulated. Through this, they aim to innovate customer experience and maximize management efficiency. They also plan to expand their business scope so that these services can be provided to other companies.

Starting with the membership platform “Happy Point App,” the companies will strengthen AI-based personalized customer services and promote the introduction of a customer-participation R&D system that not only provides AI chatbot consultations but also translates customer-submitted ideas into products.

AI technologies will also be applied to manufacturing and logistics stages to enhance productivity and stability. AI-based equipment failure prediction will be used to minimize equipment downtime and defect rates, and an optimal production system will be established based on sophisticated demand forecasting. Store operations will be made smarter by developing intelligent solutions that utilize AI analytics to automate inventory management systems, customer service, and operational tasks.

Naver Cloud CEO Kim Yoo-won said, “This collaboration will be a meaningful initiative that leads the AI transition of the F&B retail industry. Based on Naver Cloud’s AI technologies such as HyperCLOVA X, we will do our best, in cooperation with SPC Group, to expand the AI ecosystem and enhance customer experience.”
