BBQ has maintained first place among all franchise brands for the 10th consecutive year in the “2025 Korea Top 100 Brands.”

Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 15th that BBQ ranked 22nd overall in the “2025 Korea Top 100 Brands” released by Brandstock.

BBQ, which placed 23rd in last year’s Top 100 Brands, moved up one place in this year’s overall ranking, demonstrating its brand value. It also ranks first among all franchise brands.

The Korea Top 100 Brands is the only brand value certification system in Korea that comprehensively evaluates brands active in the domestic market by using an index that combines the Brand Stock Index and a nationwide consumer survey, and then selects the top 100 brands and publishes their rankings.

In 2019, BBQ became the first chicken franchise company to enter the top 30 by ranking 29th, and has since raised its position to 22nd this year, remaining within the top 30 for seven consecutive years.

A BBQ official stated, “It appears that our continued performance in the global market, beyond the domestic market, has been positively reflected in the brand value assessment,” adding, “We will continue to establish ourselves as a leading K-food brand based on our quality competitiveness and brand reliability.”

Meanwhile, BBQ recently entered South Carolina in the United States, the home of franchises, and is now present in 33 out of 50 states. It also operates around 700 stores in 57 countries, including Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, the Bahamas, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Fiji.

Recently, in partnership with BLT F&B Group, BBQ established a “European headquarters” in Spain to fully launch its push into the European market, and it has signed a master franchise agreement with South Africa to advance into the African continent as well.
