AI entertainment technology company Galaxy Corporation has been recognized with a corporate value of KRW 1 trillion this month, achieving unicorn status. CEO Choi Yong-ho, born in 1989 and aged 36, has successfully completed a pre-IPO investment exceeding KRW 100 billion, earning the title of the youngest unicorn company CEO.

Following the recruitment of G-DRAGON, Galaxy Corporation's corporate value surged, doubling its valuation from KRW 500 billion in 2023 to KRW 1 trillion in a short period. The pre-IPO round saw significant participation from major domestic institutions such as Korea Investment & Securities (joint lead manager), Shinhan Venture Investment, and Nvestor, as well as foreign capital from Taiwanese semiconductor listed company ADATA and Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Starplus Legend Holdings.

Investors reportedly decided to invest entirely in common stock, recognizing Galaxy Corporation's innovative fusion creativity and future growth potential.

Galaxy Corporation is leading the entertainment technology sector with four business models: AI technology and entertainment fusion in media, IP, commerce, and tech. It is solidifying its technological identity through R&D collaboration with KAIST and the establishment of an entertainment technology research institute, maximizing AI technology synergy based on substantial content production experience such as KBS's "1 Night 2 Days," TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot 2," and Netflix's "Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground."

The secured funds are set to be intensively invested in advancing the AI-based entertainment technology platform and expanding global reach. Galaxy Corporation, with CEO Choi as the largest shareholder, recently garnered industry attention by being the only entertainment technology company to attend the welcoming dinner at the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
