Boga, the operator of the Carnival High Limousine special vehicle brand 'Boga9', announced on the 8th that it has signed a contract with the National Police Agency for the production and delivery of AI patrol cars. This contract involves establishing a structure to operate AI and drone equipment based on vehicles, with Boga responsible for the production of the patrol car platform and the integration design of the equipment.

The AI-based searcher search solution and analysis technology applied to the patrol car are equipment separately introduced by the police. Boga has designed the power structure to ensure that the equipment operates stably inside the vehicle. An integrated platform was built on the premise of multiple equipment operating simultaneously, and a power supply system was applied to overcome the limitations of the existing V2L method of electric vehicles when operating high-load equipment.

The drone helipad system mounted on the vehicle roof is also included in this structural design. The helipad, designed with an automatic opening and closing mechanism, supports the deployment and return of drones and is configured to allow drone video and data to be linked in real-time with the equipment inside the vehicle. The placement of the drone station, power connection, and verification of the automation sequence were reflected in the vehicle production stage, and it is designed to maintain charging and video transmission while in motion.

This AI patrol car will be applied to the Kia PV5-based patrol car platform, and the National Police Agency plans to sequentially deploy it on-site starting in the first half of next year. Boga explained that it plans to supplement the power platform and equipment mounting structure based on the data obtained during the operation process.

Boga stated that it is carrying out this project based on its experience in developing the Carnival-based Boga9 special vehicle. A representative from Boga said, "We are focusing on ensuring the stability of the vehicle-based platform to meet the performance standards required on-site."
