SK Hynix announced on the 7th that it received awards in two categories at the 'Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Awards 2025' held in Santa Clara, California, USA, on the 4th (local time). The awards were for 'Outstanding Asia-Pacific Semiconductor Company' and 'Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Company'. The GSA is a semiconductor organization with over 250 corporate members worldwide and has been holding annual award ceremonies since 1996.

SK Hynix won in the Best Financially Managed category for the second time, following its first win in 2017. The Best Financially Managed Company award is based on an evaluation of a company's financial soundness and performance. It assesses the company's actual financial management capabilities and management efficiency. The Outstanding Asia-Pacific Semiconductor Company award is given to semiconductor companies headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region that receive high evaluations in terms of products, vision, leadership, and market success.
