Heritage IT announced on the 2nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thailand's state-owned telecom company, National Telecom (NT).

This agreement includes applying the 'AI BOX' developed by Heritage IT to NT's public and telecom infrastructure.

The AI BOX is a device that operates in an on-device manner without the need for expensive GPU servers and is designed for plug-and-play use on-site. Heritage IT explained that they have implemented an average video analysis delay time of 0.3 seconds. The AI BOX is equipped with approximately 50 AI analysis scenarios and can be utilized in various fields such as abnormal behavior detection, facility safety, and traffic monitoring. It is also characterized by its low-power operation, which can reduce power consumption.

Thailand, being a country with a large number of tourist visits, has demand related to customer safety management and facility operation efficiency. Heritage IT stated that the AI BOX can be applied to security facilities in large shopping malls, hotels, and tourist attractions.

Heritage IT has established an AI BOX experience space at the NT 'I BUZZ' office to allow direct verification of the equipment's performance.

Additionally, Heritage IT announced that it is conducting Proof of Concept (POC) in Singapore and Malaysia as well as Thailand. Technology tests are being conducted in various fields such as public safety, tourism facilities, and infrastructure operation.

A representative from Heritage IT stated, "This agreement is significant as it marks official cooperation with a foreign state-owned telecom company," and added, "We plan to expand our business in the Southeast Asian region."
