Ahead of the 'CES 2026' scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, USA, next January, Seoul-based companies have received a total of 27 CES Innovation Awards, including three Best of Innovation Awards. The CES Innovation Awards are presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) of the United States, evaluating the technical and innovative aspects of the entries.

According to the city, NationA (3D motion generation platform), StudioLab (AI robot filming automation), and Huotics (gait rehabilitation robot) received Best of Innovation or Innovation Awards. In the fields of marine, robotics, drones, and XR, Seoul companies such as Pablo Air (drone swarm operation technology) and Mapsea (navigation AI platform) also won multiple awards. In the fintech sector, CrossHub and GhostPass, resident companies of Seoul Fintech Lab, were selected for the Best of Innovation Award and Innovation Award, respectively.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government explained that this achievement is the result of the full-cycle technology and startup support system, which includes Seoul-type R&D, Seoul AI Hub, Seoul Campus Town, Seoul Startup Hub, and Seoul Fintech Lab. Seoul-type R&D has driven the growth of AI, XR, and robotics companies by linking technology development, demonstration, and overseas expansion.

Six companies from Campus Town also received CES Innovation Awards this year. 'Newjak,' a resident company at the DMC Advanced Industry Center, won the Innovation Award for two consecutive years with its XR board game without a headset. Joo Yong-tae, head of the Seoul Economic Policy Office, stated, “We will strengthen the ecosystem to enable global innovative companies in fields such as AI, fintech, and robotics to grow further.”
