Smart farm-based agricultural specialist company Dr. Ag (CEO Kim Jin-seok) has established a local corporation, 'DR.AG VIETNAM LLC,' in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, marking the first such move in the domestic mushroom industry. With this establishment, Dr. Ag is set to actively pursue the direct export of Korean fresh mushrooms and expand its local distribution network.

Vietnam is one of the world's largest importers of enoki mushrooms, importing tens of thousands of tons annually. The country is gaining attention as a market where demand for fresh and safe agricultural products is rapidly increasing alongside rising income levels.

Dr. Ag plans to use the establishment of the Vietnamese corporation as a stepping stone to expand its export items starting with enoki mushrooms and to gradually broaden its market reach to neighboring Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia and the Philippines.

Kim Jin-seok, CEO of Dr. Ag, stated, "The establishment of the Vietnamese corporation is Dr. Ag's first step in enhancing the export competitiveness of Korean agricultural products and expanding cooperation with local markets in line with the global K-food trend." He emphasized, "By highlighting the safety and quality of GAP and pesticide-free certified mushrooms produced with our company's smart farm technology, we aim to establish the image of premium Korean mushrooms and broaden our connection with local consumers."
