GS Caltex announced on the 15th that its 'Energy Plus' application (app) won the main award in the System and Service category at Japan's most prestigious international design competition, the '2025 Good Design Award'. With this achievement, GS Caltex highlighted that it has claimed three of the world's four major design awards this year, including the 'Red Dot Design Award' in August and the 'IDEA Design Award' in September.

Launched in 2021, the Energy Plus app supports users by facilitating easy payment, discounts, and point accumulation according to their fueling patterns, such as fuel type and refueling volume. Users can register their information and payment methods in the app, allowing transactions to be processed at gas stations through barcode scanning or PIN entry. Additionally, the app is continuously updated to enable features such as coupon registration and gas station price inquiries. The app has been praised for significantly advancing customer convenience and user experience in terms of design.
