Healthcare specialist company Open Healthcare announced on the 10th that it has officially opened a large-scale diagnostic testing center in Gardena, California, USA.
Open Healthcare is a company established by Seegene Medical Foundation, a specialized disease testing medical institution, to expand its medical services overseas. It has achieved success in overseas bases such as Kazakhstan and Vietnam.
Open Healthcare held an opening ceremony on September 25 in Gardena, California. The event was attended by key figures including Cheon Jong-gi, Chairman of Seegene Medical Foundation, Lee Min-cheol, CEO of Open Healthcare, Kim Yong-seok, CEO of Open Healthcare USA, Tasha Cerda, Mayor of Gardena, Kim Young-wan, Consul General of LA, and Steve Kang, Chairman of the LA Public Works Commission, the first Asian chair in U.S. history, as well as over 200 members of the Korean community and Southern California regional stakeholders. Participants praised the advanced system after touring the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and automated testing equipment at Open Healthcare's U.S. diagnostic testing center.
The newly opened Gardena diagnostic testing center is an advanced disease diagnostic facility capable of performing over 1,000 types of tests based on international CLIA certification.
Along with the opening of the Gardena diagnostic testing center, Open Healthcare launched the self-testing service 'AllrangeKit'. The AllrangeKit is a service that allows patients to collect samples at home and send them for testing. It currently supports tests for sexually transmitted infections (STI) and human papillomavirus (HPV), with plans to expand services to include hormone, male and female health check-ups in the future.
Kim Yong-seok, CEO of Open Healthcare USA, stated in his welcoming speech, "We will establish ourselves as a global platform where anyone can easily and quickly enjoy high-quality diagnostic testing services."
