StradVision has secured two new mass-production programs in the Indian commercial vehicle market. Including existing projects, the number of mass-production programs it is carrying out in India will increase to three.
Vision AI-based automotive software company StradVision announced on the 26th that it has been selected as the ADAS perception software supplier for two new mass-production vehicle programs of a leading Indian commercial vehicle OEM group.
The newly secured programs are mass-production vehicle projects for an OEM and its affiliated brands that represent the Indian commercial vehicle market. StradVision plans to supply vision AI-based perception software in line with future mass-production schedules.
With this selection, StradVision will be engaged in a total of three mass-production programs in India, including the project it has already been implementing. Based on this, the company plans to expand its business footprint in the Indian market and secure additional orders.
India is regarded as one of the key growth markets in the global automotive industry. In particular, the commercial vehicle segment is expected to grow on the back of increased infrastructure investment and rising logistics demand. At the same time, stricter vehicle safety regulations and the wider adoption of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are expected to drive up demand for related software.
In response to these market changes, StradVision has designated India as a strategic market and is strengthening its local business capabilities. The company plans to complete the establishment of an Indian subsidiary within the third quarter of this year and build customer support and business development systems.
StradVision is currently executing multiple mass-production projects for global automakers and tier-1 suppliers. The cumulative number of mass-production vehicles equipped with its technology has surpassed 5 million units, and the company has recently been expanding new projects in the Chinese market as well.
