Samsung SDS and LG CNS are each expanding cooperation with Google Cloud, accelerating their push into the enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) market. As demand increases for “AI transformation (AX)” that applies generative AI to actual business operations, collaboration between global big tech companies and domestic information technology (IT) service providers is rapidly taking shape.

Samsung SDS announced on the 23rd that at “Google Cloud Next 2026” held in Las Vegas, United States, it unveiled a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to expand business cooperation in AI, cloud, and security. The two companies plan to identify AI and cloud business opportunities, focusing on highly regulated and security-sensitive industries such as the public and financial sectors. In particular, they are promoting the use of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) to strengthen data sovereignty and regulatory compliance capabilities, and are working on a plan to provide “agentic AI” solutions based on Gemini Enterprise in an integrated manner through the Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP).

LG CNS was named “Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2026” for Korea at the same event, reaffirming its position as a core partner within the Google ecosystem. Based on Google’s AI Gemini and its enterprise AI platform Vertex AI, LG CNS has built hundreds of AI services across various industries, including manufacturing, finance, distribution, and the public sector. In particular, the company is accelerating global business expansion by supporting AX across enterprises, mainly in the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions.
