Open Healthcare announced on the 5th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Affiliated Hospital of the National Cancer Center for cooperation in global medical business. The signing ceremony was attended by Min-Chul Lee, CEO of Open Healthcare, Geon-Sang Park, Chief Medical Officer, Geun-Seok Lee, Director of the Affiliated Hospital of the National Cancer Center, and Seong-Ho Moon, Director of the Medical Cooperation Office.

Open Healthcare, a subsidiary of Seegene Medical Foundation, operates clinics and provides diagnostic testing and comprehensive health check-up services modeled on the Korean medical system in countries such as Kazakhstan, the United States, and Vietnam. Based on strategic cooperation with leading medical institutions in Korea, the company focuses on the global expansion of Korean healthcare and strengthening the international competitiveness of medical services.

The Affiliated Hospital of the National Cancer Center is the clinical arm of the National Cancer Center, a national cancer-specialized institution, and conducts multidisciplinary, collaborative cancer treatment and clinical research.

Under this agreement, the two institutions plan to progressively promote: △personnel exchanges related to medical business (consulting and training) △cooperation on preliminary consultations and follow-up care for foreign patients △remote consulting services for foreign patients.

Min-Chul Lee, CEO of Open Healthcare, stated, “This agreement is a starting point for effectively connecting Korea’s excellent cancer treatment capabilities with overseas patients and the global medical field,” adding, “Through cooperation with the Affiliated Hospital of the National Cancer Center, we will systematize a global collaborative care framework and do our utmost to provide reliable medical services to overseas patients.”
