Data- and AI-focused cloud specialist Clocus announced that Hyundai Motor Group is promoting a cloud security visibility project by adopting Wiz, a global cloud security platform, and that Clocus is providing technical support for the initiative.

Hyundai Motor Group has set as a core task the integration and advancement of its previously fragmented security management framework, driven by the expansion of its multi- and hybrid-cloud environment, and the establishment of a system that automates the entire process from vulnerability detection to response. This led to the need for an intelligent security platform capable of comprehensively analyzing and managing assets, security configurations, vulnerabilities, and even potential attack paths.

To address this, Hyundai Motor Group adopted Wiz, an agentless global cloud security solution. Wiz correlates and visualizes, via the Wiz Security Graph, the status of assets, security posture, vulnerabilities, and attack paths across multi-cloud environments on a single screen. This enables security teams to clearly identify risks from an enterprise-wide perspective and respond efficiently based on risk prioritization.

The project is being carried out sequentially, starting with a preliminary environment analysis, followed by Wiz onboarding, initial environment configuration, security policy design, and stabilization of operations. Clocus is designing the scope of Wiz implementation reflecting the client’s existing security policies and operational structure, and is providing cloud security consulting and technical support focused on initial deployment and policy design. Through this, key security elements are managed under consistent standards, and effective use of Wiz in day-to-day operations is supported.

A Hyundai Motor Group representative stated, “Wiz offers superior visibility compared to existing solutions and makes it easy to identify security risks by analyzing correlations between threats,” adding, “AI-based custom policies and automated analytics capabilities have significantly improved the efficiency and precision of security management tasks.”

Meanwhile, Clocus operates a dedicated technical support organization and standardized support framework for Wiz-based cloud security projects, and continues to help enterprise customers secure multi-cloud security visibility and advance their security operations.
