Healthcare platform company BIGCARE announced that on the 19th it obtained three certifications for international information security standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO): △ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System), △ISO 27701 (Privacy Information Management System), and △ISO 27799 (Health Informatics – Information Security Management in Health).

Among the certifications obtained, the most notable is “ISO 27799.” Unlike general information security certifications, ISO 27799 is a healthcare-specific certification that professionally verifies an organization’s capability to securely manage sensitive medical data of patients. With this certification, BIGCARE has strengthened its medical data security competencies and laid the groundwork for entry into the personal health screening market next year.

BIGCARE has established its position in the corporate health screening (B2B) market by providing a one-stop service from examination reservations to health report analysis. Using this certification as a turning point, the company plans to expand its business scope. Building on the proven service stability recognized by corporate clients, it intends to begin full-scale entry from next year into the health screening and customized healthcare market for general individual consumers (B2C).
